irises

have always believed

that sensuality lived

in the fabric of our skin.

but in fact,

i

was ignorantly mistaken.

the pulse of humanity

lies within our irises.

relating means awakening

our lids

and,

turning to observe

what we have created.

eyes cannot speak -

they perceive, project & pierce.

this

is wherein lies the shift.
