ruminated.
We use our minds to maneuver the world in which we live;
we intellectual, literalize, and believe.
The cogs of our cognition move us cerebrally from one reality to the next,
eventually making our tissues the canvas for past thoughts and illusions.
In our evolution,
we are beginning to give a voice to
this vessel of our timely travels.
As we illuminate the water
to see what swims in our well of worries and premonitions,
the body speaks…
and
we listen.
The cerebral mind pulls its anchor
and begins to share the power and force behind our deliberation.
Ruminative logic may blossom into the bud of a palpable cogitation
and
the academia of an honest and true life experience begins.
Dirt between our toes and under our finger nails,
pebbles of prickly goosebumps that narrate the contents beneath our skin
and,
the aching of a hungry belly
all become gifts from the Gods,
a messenger and reminder that we are in fact,
alive.
Our blood ruminates each pulsation
and
an inspiration anticipates the arrival on an expiration.
Here, mind is matter
and
matter is mused.
